Banana Smoothie

 Hi Friends!

                         Really after a year I grab hold of  time from my routine schedule on a lock down period to post my new nutrition breakfast recipe " Banana Smoothie" .
                             Smoothie is thick  and creamy beverage made from fruit,vegetables,dairy product such as milk and curd.It gives  you energy to keep going all day long; especially for those  who  are busy with their jobs and for those who want to go on diet….. without any much blabla 😊……..I will jump to recipe.

Process of preparation:

In blending jar add banana, curds, honey and almond; blend all the ingredients.

Take a serving bowl or glass add oats, pour blended mixture now garnish with rose syrup,chopped almond and soaked chia seeds.
Serve it. That’s it…. Smoothie is ready

Note:
  1.    n this recipe, I have used only banana, but you can use any fruits of your choice or can make of mixed fruits( except citrus fruits).
  2. you are using pomegranate then do not blend with fruits; instead use   pomegranate seeds.
  3. Can also add few  finely chopped fruits
  4.  You can prepare this previous night and keep in fridge and can have it before leaving to the office.

Paneer Paratha

Paneer Paratha is nothing but Indian bread stuffed with cottage cheese.It is a healthy dish usually served with raitha or curd or pickle.Paneer paratha is an ideal break fast to start the day with rich source of milk protien.

Preparation


Take wheat flour and knead to dough by adding salt,water and oil ; keep aside and rest it for a while .

Mean while prepare for stuffing.

Crumble paneer add coriander leaves, finely chopped green chillies and finely chopped onion.

Add cumin powder, chat masala and salt mix well
Make balls of paneer mixture
The ball size of paneer and dough should be of same size (shown in pic)

Make a small puri  keep the paneer stuffing ; cover it completely

Take the stuffed dough flatten it with your hand so the the stuffing is spread evenly ;now using a rolling pin roll out the stuffed dough to paratha.

Heat tawa place rolled out paneer paratha and cook on both side by flipping the paratha and let it cook till light brown spots appear, drizzle some ghee and roast to a golden shade on both sides.  Press the puffed areas using flat ladle to get paratha roasted.

Creamy Sandwich

Today I am sharing my all-time favourite   recipe Creamy Sandwich.

                                       In this recipe I have used brown bread ; you can use any bread. I have shown how make this sandwich using toaster and tawa…..So friends those who don’t have toaster can try the recipe on tawa  (which is easily available in all kitchen)






Preparation




Heat Olive oil add finely chopped mushroom sauté it ,add finely chopped spinach and sweet corn kernels sauté it add crushed pepper and salt and cook till kernels are soft ;keep aside to get cool


Add mayonnaise mix and keep aside. This is your sandwich spread
Spread butter on one side of bread slices then spread spinach mixture on one side of bread cover the bread with another slice of bread as shown in the above picture


Spread butter on outside of bread and toast on toaster


Toast the bread on tawa until golden brown on both sides and serve hot


(I personally like tawa toasted sandwich………….)


Note:
I had few mushroom in my fridge so I have used…….. You can avoid mushroom and continue the recipe.

Mangalorean Egg Curry





Mangalorean egg curry is a perfect dish with rice, dosa, and chapattis. Specialty of the curry is instead of using boiled eggs we break the egg into the gravy.

Method

Grind coconut, masala powder, turmeric, garlic flakes, onion and tamarind to a smooth paste by adding water. In pan, add chopped onion and tomato add masala paste, add water to the gravy consistency (gravy consistency shouldn’t be too thick or too thin) add salt and bring it to boil.

Once it starts boiling, break egg one by one in the curry (don’t stir at this moment) close the lid and cook on low flame for a few minutes; after few minutes eggs will be cooked and mix very gently.

Now in small pan or wok, heat coconut oil, add finely chopped onion, fry till it become red (don’t burn the onion) add in the curry. Close lid and off the gas. Keep aside closed for 3-5 minutes.
Mix gently and serve with rice, dosa or with chapattis.

                  Coconut oil is an optional being a Mangalorean we like the aroma of coconut oil in Mangalorean cuisines.
